Tina bred pedigreed Maine Coon kittens for 18 years under the cattery name, Fog City. Tina is now living in New Haven, Connecticut and breeding under the cattery name, Elm City. All cats and litters are registered with TICA (The International Cat Association). Tina only works with other experienced and exceptional U.S. breeders. Although Tina no longer shows her cats, there are many famous award winning cats in our bloodlines. This means that ancestors have been recognized as exceptional examples of the breed.
The lovely girl here is Fog City Mountain Laurel. She still lives with us and she is a healthy spayed 11 1/2 year old.
She is in most of our pedigrees.
Our cattery breeding cats have been screened for genetic problems, using Optimal Selection DNA testing. All our breeding cats are CLEAR (N/N) of all breed specific genetic issues such as HCM, SMA and PKDef.
Our stud cat Flint also had his heart screened via ultrasound for heart disease and is clear at this time. Females will have their hearts screened by age 2.
Our current litter (Malley X Flint) was born on December 3, 2022.
There are 4 girls and 3 boys.

No. We do not believe in these practices.
We don't think breeders should be purposely breeding mutations. Let's leave that to Mother Nature.
